ooh, I nearly forgot...

Whenever a tragedy is reported on the news, the local area is always described as a "close knit community". As opposed to "loosely woven diaspora"?
I use all those. ;) (Apart from 'upskilling', which is an abomination.)

This one made me literally shudder the other day: "What brings you to Curry's today?"
the bus, it broke down outside and its raining otherwise i'd have been in a more reputable electronics store

Ha ha User482 - I like the loosely woven business...;)

'moving forward' is a horror. Often applied to completely useless economic speak.

What exactly is "due diligence"?

Stakeholders.

Proactive.

Oh, and "impact", when the speaker means "effect".

As in:

Interviewer: What sort of impact do you think X will have on Y?

Interviewee: Oh, I think it will be a long, slow, gradual impact...

How can you have a gradual impact???!

my boss likes to give me 'opportunities for improvement'........what he really means is "here is a job you probably know bugger all about ....see if you can figure it out ...oh and by the way i need it by close of play today."

My company-before-last always talked about 'empowerment' and 'shift to the left'.
What they meant by both of these was 'dump any sh1tty job that no-one else wants onto the helpdesk phone monkeys.'
Grrrr.
