Speaking of "based", the use of "based" as an adjective to mean "good" or "admirable"(i.e. "plant-based")
Presumably that rules out mushrooms or any other fungus. Quorn for example.Yes! Although describing vegetarian food as "veggie" doesn't annoy me quite as much. And yet the new, modern, beard-and-full-sleeve-tattoo friendly version of "vegan" (i.e. "plant-based") makes my teeth itch.
