Who enjoys walking in the rain?

I've just came home from a 2 1/2 hour walk in the rain. With the proper gear I just love walking in the rain but I don't enjoy riding in the rain so much.

I am with you there, with the right gear it can be rather nice. Some things smell really nice when they are rained on.

I don't mind walking or cycling in the rain as long as I am properly equipped.

I don't mind cycling in the rain, I have a good quality rain jacket that isn't a boil in the bag job. I was out earlier on a short loop, 30 miles in the rain and really enjoyed it. Having the right gear makes all the difference.

I spend many hours WORKING in the rain(and wind and sleet and...). So walking in the rain is something i'd rather avoid!

There is rain, and then there is RAIN!

I walked in one horrendous storm and it managed to penetrate some pretty reasonable rainwear. It kept me dry for about 3 hours but then the water started getting in and after that it really wasn't pleasant. On top of which - what is the point in walking if you are almost getting blown off your feet and can't see any of the scenery!

Don't mind cycling in the rain and don't need all the rain gear either . Went on the other week weather was fine T-shirt and 3/4's started raining but I was warm so no worries bit of water never hurt no one

My boss thinks I am weird when I say 'it's only rain', well it is only rain no big deal.

i am same as Accy cyclist so when it rains i stay indoors for as long as the dogs let me .
