Which products to degrease and lube chain?

Old cotton t-shirts. You know, the ones that after about 3 washes they lose their shape, so become oily rags for the bike.

You've just described most of my wardrobe.

Do the actual cogs need lube or are they fine to be 'dry' so long as the inner chain rollers are well lubricated?

But dribbling a bit in the back near the hub might be good as it looks like that's a freewheel, if there's a gap in the dork disk.

It's sealed that side (or at least it is if it's screwed on tight) you might get some lube in at the axle end though.

I thought the MF-TZ21 was one of the freewheels which has a joint where you can get some lube in at the back, but a later comment seems to suggest it's not.
