Although people are mainly concerned with going the other way..

I like riding in Norfolk and the best way to get there is to ride. Lots of nice lanes and interesting churches etc,

Just to lighten this thread here is an example of a Norfolk Church. BTW that's not the A11.

The A14 is neither a county road (it's a trunk road) nor in Norfolk. The A140 is both but piffling because it only goes to near Stowmarket. The main road to Norfolk is the A11 which connects to the M11 south of Cambridge to London.
The main road to Norfolk for me is the A140. I'd say the A47 was the major road in Norfolk.

A local one confuses me. Its not one I use normally but yesterday and today due to queuing traffic where it starts I have.
It is on the east side of a north-south road so heading north you are on the wrong side of the carriageway. Its northern end termainates at a pedestrain crossing which has a cycle light included. In this Google aerial

the cycle track in under the trees bottom route as far as the crossing forward of the car waiting at the lights in the left turn lane. There is no provision on the opposite pavement and cycling marking reoccur to the north of the junction on the west side of the carriageway. The crossing on the north side of the junction appears to operate in parallel with the southern one. So heading north with the green cycle light lit I came off the cycle track and pedalled straight through the northern crossing which had its green pedestrian lights lit .

Comfy armchair to one person & a plank to the next
If you go straight on probably Beccles or Stoven, if you go left though it'll probably Walsberwick. I'm not familiar with any of them though so I don't really know where to cycle for the best cafe in that situation
Beccles every time. There's a cafe with a secret garden. If you don't want to lock the bike, they do takeaway and the marina is a nice place for a picnic.
