I thought the most Northerly point in Wales was Cemaes Bay. Or so my dearly beloved, who hails from there keeps telling me.

Plax said:Thankfully I'm not over that end of the world, it's far too densely populated for my liking. Pray but tell me, though Patrick, why avoid Pensarn Beach? You don't go dogging there do you I wouldn't go there anyways, I don't like beaches - I hate sand.
Patrick Stevens said:There was some ghastly case reported in detail in the Daily Post (not least because there were Freemasons involved!) of a group of men who were having sex with a 14 year old girl on Pensarn Beach. It was said that the beach was notorious for people cruising for every kind of perversion. I recalled it as the place where that cinema owner (Peter ?) used to trawl for men to kill.
Plax said:Ah, I've read of both but never made the connection. All the more reason for me to avoid beaches! Peter Moore, I think you mean. I believe he only killed one at a beach near Abergele - the rest, or at least 2, were killed on Anglesey.

Patrick Stevens said:I think those on Pensarn beach late at night are pretty "beach wise." The Daily Post report into the group having sex with the 14 year old, said that after dark, the only people on the beach were those looking for various sexual activites. At Point of Air they've got notices prohibiting nude sunbathing - not a problem when I was there on Friday. At Pensarn, no doubt they're got signs saying "Dim Shaggio."
