Did the test and I scored 62.5% so I am not British enough to be British. What a load of codswallop thought up by somebody in London who thinks we should all know the location of anywhere in London. Also it should say Queen Elizabeth 2nd of England not Britain.

You blew up postboxes back in the day didn't you

Since the Brexit farce. I've taken to saying, "I'm European first, then British". Saying you're English feels to me, to have been stolen or hijacked by the Right Wingers.

Always preferred to say I was Welsh rather than English, but recently (5 yrs ago) found out my biological Father is Irish and I have 5 more siblings  in Ireland. I was born in Wales, but am proud to call myself British and always will be, regardless of the shame some "British" people make me feel, especially whilst watching Endeavour last night!

You could always opt to describe yourself as Celtic.

I say I'm British when I'm here, partly because I am (English born, Welsh name, Scots Ancestry) and also because I want people to know the Island off the coast of Ireland isn't just England: there's a lot more besides.

Anywhere else, as of last year I tell people I'm German, just because it really confuses them when said with a British accent.

No I did not get into the postbox thing but there was Radio Free Scotland. The post box blowing up and other associated activities were always a bit suspect. I met various "activists" who were not really very clever at disguising a dubious background. Special Branch or some other agency? Why for example give false addresses on SNP membership applications and start agitating for violent activities hoping for some reaction from impressionable people?

Talking of accents, I lived 25 years dahn sarf, 10 years in Glasgow, and where I live now in Yorkshire it's surprising the number of people who think I'm Australian when I meet them for the first time.

Aye, based on that map it would be better to build it between N. Ireland and Wales. Hopefully someone can show it to Boris and he'll fall for it.
What about the tunnel?

This only seem to apply to England as in Wales , they are Welsh and nothing else, same for the the Scotts and Irish. When it comes to sports, there is no such thing as British as each of the 4 nations remains proudly of their motherland. So the English seem to have a big chip on their shoulder by wanting to impose their will on the other countries they occupied in the UK by calling them British. Only the English call themselves British I notice. I wonder what will happen when Scotland finally becomes independent in a few years time ?
Good post, noticed this at a strong man competitio. English men with Union Jack's and the Scotland & Welsh with their own flags. At least some of the Northern Irish are happy to be British.
Scotland will never be allowed to leave. They've had their vote too recently albeit we were in the EU then. I think it would be a bad thing for the porridge eaters if they did.
