Some post for the bloke next door with the five dogs - I don't actually hate him - and I will drop the post off to him - I will just wait till his dogs stop barking. - I hope its not urgent.

The KitSound Hive In-Ear Headphones I ordered from the ee accessories site using the £20 voucher I got for returning a dud charger thing they recalled because they were bursting into flames or something (plus a fiver in hard currency). Have to say I'm pretty underwhelmed. All the reviews on Amazon were wowing about how great they were. I can only assume they came from people trading up from £3.99 market stall jobs. I usually use some old Sony ones that came with the original discman, and they absolutely crap on these. They're tolerable, I suppose, but if I'd actually paid £25 for them I would be a most unhappy bunny.

But.... the nice Postie also brought three records I bought from some bloke in Bulgaria: Great Jazz Trumpet Players, Great Jazz Tenor Saxophonists and Great Jazz Pianists. I did a bit of googling before I took the plunge, but the reviews I found were positive so I steeled myself and committed to 99p each, plus £3 postage, and they turned up in less than a week, really well wrapped, and proved to be in excellent condition. They're terrific! I presume they're from the Soviet era, and feature people like Dizzie Gillespie and Ben Webster, and the sound quality is really good. Apparently they totally revamped their production setup in 1972 with equipment 'purchased from England', and by the sounds of things we did them proud. Only listened to the Saxophonists one so far, but I look forward to the others.
