The postie didn’t bring me anything. I did collect a small package though. Her name is Luna.

A card from someone whom I've blocked on Whatsapp after she said she found me abrupt and my attitude rude. It's the second card that she has sent me. The first I only opened because I didn't know who had sent it. She wrote to say that she had nothing more to say to me.

I haven't opened this card and am starting to consider my options. Including sending a heavy package without a stamp on it. 😄

Waterproof rucksack cover.

Small 15L daysack.

New Sigg water bottle - the old one is 30 years old and is dented all over and little flakes of blue paint get on everything else in my rucksack.

New pair of summer ankle boots for my wife.

New pair of fleece lined ankle boots for winter also for my wife. £150 down to £45 in an out of season sale. Bargain!

House insurance renewal doc's from Direct Line - too much pa; gone with Aviva for £77 less plus policy also saves me BC membership fees as it covers public liability whilst cycling plus accidental damage to the bike as well which DL did not have. Result!

Busy day for the various post-people that frequent our drive.

A pair of prescription shades (of the non cycling/sporty variety) ordered from Moscot on a whim while in London a couple of weeks back.

I'll show you later...! :okay:

(My parcel has just been delivered to the local P.O. but I have a pot of coffee to polish off before I go to collect it.)

What the postie has actually brought me is STRESS - lots of it!!!!

My parcel was due tomorrow but I got a message saying that it was going to be delivered today. I was going out twice today so I redirected it (hours in advance) to the local P.O. in case I happened to be out when postie called.

Just after 3 pm, I got an email saying that the parcel had been delivered. I walked down to the P.O.... they knew nothing. No parcel. I looked at the email again and it just said 'delivered', NOT where it was delivered to! I came home to investigate. I followed the tracking... nope, no mention of where it went, just that it went there. But there WAS helpful proof of delivery...

Oh, FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cursing:

The parcel may well be at the P.O. but the staff were adamant that it wasn't. They asked for proof of delivery. I can just imagine what their response will be when I show them that bloody picture!

@ColinJ if you did the redirect on the same day as delivery for RM it doesn’t go through properly and it gets stuck. You might need to request a redelivery. I had this before!!!

Look like it’s in the back of the van (roof in picture) so might be delivered tomorrow as originally planned?

Oh wow, thanks!

I'll wait and see if the parcel turns up here or at the P.O. tomorrow... Meanwhile, I have contacted the supplier to tell them about the problem.
