Amazon £7 delivered. There are a multitude of sellers selling the same versions and I beleive there was a red one. The shims that came with it aren't enough to securely grip the Brompton handlebar, but I used some self amalgamating tape on the handlebar. A bit of inner tube would do the job.

Ah yeah... :okay:

I actually bought mine off Amazon about three years ago, and had the exact same issue with the clamp and shims. Looks like that part of the design hasn't changed in the interim.

But this one looks better, what with the rubber sleeves. Lights are fine on what I've got, but the bell has a distinct taste for hanging upside down...

A couple of bits for an upcoming new departure for me, some new pedals and a shock pump.

I've been using V12's on my gravel bike for several years now and been super impressed, not just the comfort, but the excellent build quality.

Another company who's build quality has always impressed, has been Lezyne. I have a beautiful Lezyne track pump as well as a small pocket pump, so when I needed a shock pump, only Lezyne would do and this one looks good enough to mount on the workshop wall. Though I wouldn't because that would be weird.

A new TPU gel case for my ancient Galaxy S7 Edge, and a glass screen protector for belt-and-braces protection.
Some hearing aid batteries.
Still waiting: Molex-to-SATA Y-splitter.
Wow, I lead an exciting life...

Heard a lot about this book, finally got it today. Just about to have a browse.

Ooh, there's one very close

My Daughter gave me the Welsh one for last Christmas. Unfortunately, there aren't any in that one close enough to ride without driving to the start.

I subscribe to GCN+, and have enjoyed the "slow cycling" series with him taking various GCN staff members for rides.

Heard about those episodes in Jack's podcast. Alas, am not a subscriber to GCN+

This beautifully light and well preserved crankset. I have two of the Octalink version, so plenty of spare chain rings, this one is square taper and going on the tourer.

Argh, I now have competition for purchasing replacement chain rings, grrrr. I've got a spare large chain ring as I seem to be wearing them out in 12-18 months with commuting twice a week. I've seen them first ! 👅
