On foot - about 3000m on a via ferrata in the Italian Dolomites (now that was scary

I stood on a chair once ... it was terrifying!

Cop a load of THIS then. Note how there are glasses on top of the lower chair from 1'14" onwards.

Anyway, 2802m on the Col de la Bonette for me by bike.

On foot, I'll have to check my mountain-climbing memory banks and report back.

don't know either the name of the mountain or the elevation, but i once went for a walk up a mountain in the rockies near vancouver, and when we lunched at the top of the mountain the bag of crisps i took had inflated due to the lower air pressure.
