High Chaparral is on one of the Freeview channels now.

Is it by golly. I don't think I've watched it since I first saw it but I can remember all the characters: Big John, Victoria, Buck, Manolito, Blue, Victoria's dad - whose name escapes me ... Senor somebody.

I'm not going to bother watching it again though.

Currently watching 1883 on Netflix. Rather enjoying it.

Yellowstone and it's spin offs have passed some time for me but are not what I would class as good. The last good western themed TV show I watched was Deadwood. Although with the cast it had it was hard for it to be bad.

I /we saw Frankie Laine live once, wonderful voice.

Early seventies I worked with a guy called Albert Frost who was a Frankie Laine fanatic. He was having an affair with a co worker by the name of June. About ten years back on some radio show a request came in for a Frankie Laine record for her husband, Albert, by a June Frost.

Made me smile at the memory, he was a lovely guy.
