Both episodes of The split - Barcelona have been watched and enjoyed even though I slept through the first one so had to watch that on catch up before last night's second episode

The new series of Traitors started so well! It’s just brilliant for watching human behaviour and Claudia’s cape game is phenomenal! On Vinted, looking for a cape myself!

Dr Who Christmas Special.

Not this years, which I did watch, but the one from 2014 (Peter Capaldi's first). A lovely mix of Father Christmas (played by Nick Frost) and a story inspired by Alien and Inception. The 2024 secial is good, but the 2014 is just a lot more fun, and a good bookend to the 2024 Christmas season for me.

Currently watching Nobody on Channel Four. Was it at the cinema when it came out but forgot most of the story since.

I have been re watching all the series of Shetland. It reminded me of a brief visit to Berwick that we made in the summer.

The only other thing that I am currently watching are old re runs of 24 hours in A&E.

Watched the 2 Robert Downey Jr 'Sherlock Holmes' films with SWMBO earlier...

the 1st one's enjoyable... the 2nd one is Sherlock Holmes in name only; far too much fighting, not enough sleuthing.

I did wonder where I'd seen the actor playing Blackheart before, a little searching revealed that he was 'Merlin' in the KIngsmen films
Plus, the actor playing Moriarty is a son of Richard Harris!!

SAS Rogue Hero's - iPlayer.

Okay watch, decent soundtrack but slightly odd pantomime-looking sets at times.

Will probably watch the whole series (currently on E3).

Anyone else watching S2? I enjoyed Ep1 more than the first series. The tone is still a bit all over the place, but seemed to work better than S1.

New maverick anti-hero Paddy gets some great dialogue. Makes up for his almost OVER-authentic Belfast accent :P

I realised in the closing credits that they used a lot less pop music: perhaps they are going for slightly grittier, less pantomime.

Celebrity Hunted.

I don't recognise any of the celebrities so this is basically the same as the normal series for me. Always quite liked the format, though the fugitives seem to trip up in the same ways which can be a bit repetitive.
