Squid Game, series 2, starts today on Netflix.

Expectations are low wrt storyline as, after all, it should have been a one series only affair (but $$$), but hopefully it will be a visual treat.

Inside No 9 The Party’s Over....telling the tale of the journey of this fantastic series.Well worth a watch if your into this show and the actors, how could you not be.

In keeping with the above we also watched Mark Gatiss latest Ghost Story for Christmas...Woman of Stone.
Loved them both.

Great programme. Even though I'm not a No9 fanboy (it's too inconsistent for me), this showed the enormous love and skill they put into it. I do think it's Classic Telly - despite my criticisms - because what they've done is so unique. So much variation in the style, plots, characters - great work.
I was really moved at the end!

I watched that with a finger on the fast forward button as I've not watched the series yet and didn't want to spoil it lol.

I think that's fine...I mean 10 years and 55 episodes of No9 you're not gonna like everything ! Even I didn't 😁
I've followed them since the first episode of The League of Gentlemen and been hooked.
They can do no wrong for me....well almost,I wasn't mad on Psychoville, must give it another go.

Wallace and Gromit was unbelievably good. Lots of jokes that it might help being a northerner for but just brilliant. Canal boat ‘car chase’ was a first! How they do it is beyond me.

Terry Pratchetts 'Luggage', from 'Colour Of Magic'??

Plus
- the farmer from 'Shaun The Sheep
- the coach on a cliff, from Italian Job transplanted to the Yorkshire/Lancashire border, with a canal-barge, on an aquaduct remarkably similar to the Pontcysyllte i Wales

Have you read the books that the series was originally based on?

If you have then you'll recognise most episodes from the first two series, but after that it starts to turn into fiction.

It's like the Miranda Hart character, she does go to Africa but actually stays there and is never seen again, I started to get a bit bored after the third series when they began making things up. 😂
