SS-GB - so much promise, but utter barely audible rubbish.

Lucifer - still consistently good, worth the Amazon subs alone.

Prime Suspect 1973 (just watching now) - better than expected. Surprisingly good in fact. Lots of knowing little references subtly dotted about.

Hawaii 5-0 remains consistently entertaining nonsense

Ah! I'm glad it was not just us that couldn't hear it. We faffed with the TV audio settings and couldn't find a solution so gave up watching.

Almost halfway through The Expanse season 2 and as a book reader its got better IMO as its gone on, I just hope it doesnt go the way of Firefly. Pretty big moment for the series this week and left me with a lump in my throat.

What.. not seen Series 2 on Kodi yet - (not checked for a couple of weeks) Also on Dark Matter Series 2 - it moves slow, so I binge watch about 3 episodes at a time.

Use subtitles and pretend its a foreign film, its what my mum does with American shows.

I don't mind SS:GB, although I tend to watch with subtitles anyway.

Lethal Weapon (ITV Player)
Surprisingly good, at least on the evidence of the pilot. Characters and world are fleshed out nicely in this first episode, and no one is more surprised than me to find the normally insufferable Damon Wayans one of the more appealing screen presences in this. Looking forward to the next episodes.

The Expanse S2
I enjoyed the first season, while noting the points others have made about its pacing. This second season seems to be rattling along nicely, and is already an interesting expansion (!) to the universe of the first series.

Watched the whole S1 of Aldnoah:Zero

I dunno why I watch Japanese animations, probably because they always make me think "what the fark just happened?" Where European TV really struggles to.

Has lots of the usual Japanese fare; naive high school kids, jaded adults, bizarre aristocracy and giant robots piloted by humans.

I wonder if their history with China and the US influenced this one much.

This one is safe enough for my boy to watch, at least.

7/10
sat down to watch the start of a new 18 part series of something called 'Lethal Weapon' we lasted probably less than a minute before we had both given it a big thumbs down and switched it off
Hmm, I liked it. Pretty much exactly as the movie was.
