About half way through the first series, not sure how I missed this first time around as it's pretty clever, and funny. Nothing new in the fish out of water stakes, but the writers have managed a fresh feeling take on it.

I haven't watched the latest Dr Who yet as I'm working through a rewatch of NuWho, I'm upto Peter Capaldi's 12th Doctor which was 2014.
I've just watched Listen which I think is not only one of the best Dr Who episodes, I think its one of the best episodes of any UK TV ever. Fantastic story, supurb acting and its an episode that anyone can just watch and enjoy, its all self contained.

Kaos: series staged in an alternative modern Crete about the machinations of Greek Gods, with stories somewhat based on the Greek Myths. Excellent cast, mostly British, (Billie Piper as prophetess Cassandra, Cathy Tyson as a motorcycle riding Fury etc) also with Geoff Goldblum superb as the capricious and perhaps out of his depth Zeus. 4 episodes in the central story seems to revolve around Zeus's relationship with his son Dionysus, with other interlinked around Trojan refugees, Theseus and the Minotaur, Orpheus and Euridice and so forth.

A recent discovery for us too and I totally agree! They've got the balance absolutely spot on, and it's fun to see where they've got their influences from. The captain is clearly based on Roy Keane, and I read that the coach is based on a combination of Klopp and Guardiola.

Caught the last episode of Joan and have enjoyed it and hopefully another sequel will follow.
