I am more than adequately served by her many SF outings! Turned on Quiet Place half-way through (by chance) last night, it almost sucked me in, but I think it's too good a film to just watch part of it

Well Ms Blunt was the reason I got to episode 4.

In the case of Colombo I would plead euthenasia or public interest when his body is found in a chocolate filled deepfat frier in a freezer

Re run of the class sitcom Early Doors on BBC4 last night.First two half hour episodes but I'm sure there all on iPlayer.Its from 2003 and basically set in a pub in Manchester.If your lucky enough not to have watched it give it a try 😁

Excellent series!

A friend was one of boom ops and often told me (long before broadcast) about working on it. Many hours were wasted because the crew just couldn't stop laughing, thus ruining a lot of takes... I guess that's quite common when making a comedy.

As much as I loved it I'm not sure it's a good idea to bring it back, they'd be the obvious comparisons and inevitable, 'it's not as good as the first time.'

As much as I loved it I'm not sure it's a good idea to bring it back ...

The worst thing they can do with a sitcom is drag it out for years and years. Most of them would have benefited from not being milked dry... like Hi-di-hi, Only Fools, Open all Hours.
