Ok not strictly tv as I think it'll be on a pay for channel. But one of the luxury's of having teenagers at home is they can stream me anything !
Started watching The Bear...it's basically about a award winning Chef returning to his hometown of Chicago to run his family restaurant.Well it's a bit more but you get the drift. Its manic...and so far brilliant.Worth your time if you can get hold of it.

I've just finished S1 of The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Its from the late 2000s and is set prior to Judgement Day and shows how Sarah and John are fighting against time travelling Terminators and trying to stop Skynet. Its set just after the events of T2 and acts a an alternative timeline (lol!) to T3 and T4 version of events. Is it any good? Well depends, if your a Terminator fan its worth checking out. Its suffers from a low budget but still has some good sequences, the cast is interesting as its Lena Headey as Sarah Connor and there are lot of familiar faces in it. There's a couple of interesting ideas in it such as the resistance sending back other soldiers to act as the resistance in the past, not just as a guardian against a terminator.

There is a S2 which I'll watch but it got cancelled and I've got a feeling the story in S2 will be left unresolved as it was cancelled but its a series I've meant to watch for years so I'll finish it.

Cameron was talking recently about re-booting Terminator. Please no!. We've seen it all, the overlapping timelines are even more complex than some people's tax returns. Let it lie, do something new.

I'd agree there, I've enjoyed all the Terminator films but since T2 they've all underperformed and every one has resulted in their planned sequals being cancelled.

We really enjoyed it, consistently good. I can't quite remember how it ended, but I do recall the ending was at least satisfactory.

Kaleidoscope - very good - Netflix Series about a Bank Heist but you watch it in a random order chose by Netflix. Very well done and the episode order is more of a time line of what happens around this robbery.

Main actor is 'The Chicken Man' / 'Mof Gideon' - if you know, you know.
