More wheels than sense
Just started The Last Overland - they are attempting to drive from Singapore to London in the original S1 landrover that made the first successful trip in the other direction in 1955.

Early days yet but I'm enjoying it. It's on the channel 4 player.

I ended up watching all 4 of these today , very enjoyable.

Some Italian thing called Redemption.

It is hard going but I have started so I will finish as that bloke used to say!
Thanks for the heads up. I'm learning Italian, so I'll watch anything (within reason) for practice.

Just watched E1 so far - a bit derivative, bordering on clichéd, but very nicely shot.

Having been disappointed by the Jack Reacher films, I decided to give the TV series a go. It's far superior, and pretty entertaining for total fluff.

6/10

Yes I enjoyed it immensely. No idea what happened now but it was fun at the time.
Looking forward to seeing the next series.

There’s also a book of it
Two Station Wagons (‘Oxford’ & ‘Cambridge’, from memory
Tim Slessor(?) wrote the book, from his memory of being part of the team

It’s one of the best expeditions around
The ‘Darien Gap’ was also another superb trip
Sadly, not as comprehensively filmed
That also has a book The 100 Days Of Darien
I did have a copy, but l have no idea where it is now
They used two very purposeful looking Range Rovers, & a couple of Series 2 ( as ‘pathfinders’)
