Yes, I bought the DVD set and enjoyed it - but it didn't help my Italian much as it's mostly in an impenetrable Neapolitan accent.

Suburra is good, too, and easier to understand.

So are you at the stage where you notice regional differences in the language Dave?

For instance if you were watching Montalbano set on Sicily as opposed to watching something set in Rome or Milan.

Forgot;
A few nights ago, one of the canal programmes with Timothy West & Prunella Scales
They were on the ‘Calder-Hebble’(?) in Sowerby Bridge/Hebden Bridge

They were joined by one of their sons, Sam, who is presently playing Siegfried in All Creatures Great & Small

Think we've seen all the episodes, very interesting if you're into canal boats & informative if not, shame to see Prunella with what appears to be the first signs of dementia, although clearly fighting it.

Well I know the difference between accents/dialects I can understand and those I can't. :rolleyes:

Montalbano, despite being set in Sicily, mostly features pretty standard Italian accents and isn't that hard to understand compared to something like The Hunter (Il Cacciatore) - also on C4, and worth a watch.

Werewolf by Night - 9/10

Thoroughly enjoyable story about a group of 'death dealers' competing to kill a monster in order to claim a powerful medallion. Beautifully shot in black and which reminded me of Twilight Zone. I have no idea if the comics it's based on are B&W, but it still seems a brave move for what I suppose is part of the MCU.

Was anyone using MY5 last night, tried to use it via the Firestick & direct from the Sony TV, it kept stopping on both & buffering, then abandoning the show (ACG&S) jumped to Prime & Netflix both worked as expected, obviously on other programs, but don't think it was a Broadband issue.

Binged Wreck over the last couple of days, a generous 6/10.

Should be right up my street, camp, queer, violent, funny. But something about it just doesn't click. I had predicted what was going to happen by the end of episode 4 of 6 and just wanted them to get on with it to see if I was right. I was.

Probably not really the target audience, it's kinda like 'My First What's Going On?' horror I suppose.

Fun, but not really for me.

Inside Man on BBC. Loved the first ten minutes but then it goes off the rails. Halfway through the series now and I can't see where we are going. It's a bit like a Sherlock/ Broadchurch mashup. Interesting.

I have watched it all and thought it was great. Something a bit different.
