Finished off the Falling Skies episodes available on Netflix (takes you to the end of season 4). It's nothing groundbreaking, but quite addictive once you've become invested in the characters. I'm hoping that seasons 5 and 6 pop up soon.
Season 5 finishes the series. I watched it a few months ago, and it was pretty good. Now I'm watching season 2 of Extant, having just watched season 1: it deals with aliens and AI fairly well, I think.

Recently discovered The Almost Impossible Gameshow.

It's very, very stupid and in some ways irritating, but some of the stuff the commentators come up with makes it very funny. Think Takeshi's Castle with Irish commentators.

Oh, ta - I'm sure Wiki said that there were 6 seasons, hence my mistake

I may go back to Extant - I watched the first season, but couldn't get into it enough to watch the second when it became available.

Anyway, for me, two more Parks and Recs via the UKTV player (guest starring Patton Oswalt, and his Star Wars fillibuster) and an Outlander, via Prime video.

Just watched the series 3 finale of Line Of Duty.
Does TV get any better? Fantastic script, brilliantly acted - if this doesn't win a hat full of BAFTAs I'll eat my hat.
In fact, it was so good I'm seriously considering getting Netflix so I can watch series 1 and 2...

2008 Singapore Grand Prix. Where Briatori had the crash set up to allow Alonso to win.
Later stripped of the win. Following on from his 2007 season at McLaren.

Taking a break from 24, just finished Season 3 - we're a bit behind, 3 episodes into Better Call Saul Season 2. It's a train smash waiting to happen but very watchable, quality stuff.

My advice is don't bother watching any more 24... series one was the only one worth watching... all the others are little more than Jack Bauer shooting people and apologising.

Thoroughly enjoyed Line of Duty... but i reckon @User is right about series one... might have to give that a rerun before long.

Agreed - and the way they begin to shoehorn cliffhangers into the section before each ad break, the formulaic reveal that the bad guy isn't actually *the* bad guy...

I enjoyed them at the time, in a sort of pottering around doing something else way, but then did have the benefit of having a year between series. I fear that the shortcomings would be all too apparent in a binge watch.

Anyroad, I finished S2 of Line of Duty, and then S3, having watched them in parallel - I can only echo the praise of other posters, and say again that it's worth catching up on the first two if you can.

I've begun S1 of Peaky Blinders (about 30 min into the first episode, and am enjoying that).

Also queued up via iPlayer, I have "The Hollow Crown", "The Fades" and "Hinterland". Whether I can get through that lot remains to be seen, although the bank holiday weather is doing its best to help.

I think I made it through 3, possibly 4 episodes of 24 before giving up. Mrs Bauer kept looking so obviously at the hidden phone in the shed... Seriously bad guys?! And that ringtone on the phones. Gadz.

Peaky Blinders is a thing of great style and savage beauty. You've some fun ahead of you.
