Yep. We should think about that next time we buy some useless tat, or upgrade from a a 2 year old but still perfectly serviceable smartphone. We all moan, but we all still buy, buy, buy. The programme was an eye opener alright.

I watched a documentary about Nando's on Channel 5 last night. It was surprisingly interesting, and explained a lot about the incredible popularity of the place.

Pump Up The Bhangra - It reminded me of an afternoon Bhangra disco I went to around 1986/7. At the time the pubs closed at 3pm so I thought it would be a good way to keep drinking till they opened again. When I got there they had an alcohol-free bar!

Halfway through saving Capitalism on Netflix, all a bit depressing so dived back in to Billions on Sky box sets...

I suspect the former as slightly tainted but has some fundamentals right which makes it depressing. So will carry on later.

Preacher is getting good reviews on prime might try that.

The same sky. The story a an East German spy sent into West Berlin to seduce West German support staff working in the NATO surveillance centre in west. Berlin to obtain secrets.
It also follows the day to day lives of east Berliners, some plotting escape, some toeing the party line.
Did I enjoy the 6 episodes, yes but
No secrets were gained, no one escaped, so season 2 has to be due

Enjoying the re-imagining of Lost In Space (I'm up to episode 8), especially Parker Posey as Dr Smith... she's just awesome in everything she does. My main criticism of this show is that maybe it's taking itself a little too seriously. The original, I recall was a bit daft, which was much of its charm.

First episode of The Bodyguard was quite good... I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up bumping off the home secretary.
