We have been watching the latest series of Peaky Blinders, and Adrien Brody has just rocked up.

His accent is hilariously awful. Sounds like he's doing a terrible impression of Marlon Brando in Godfather.

Black Mirror 4, Episode 2: Archangel... it was awesome, truly truly awesome. Directed by Jodie Foster too. 10/10.

That was my least favourite of the series. I found it way too obvious, and didn't think the reason for giving her daughter the implant in the first place was plausible.

Just started the box set of the sci fi show "dark matter" - it having got rather good reviews. First episode looked superb, started well and not bad acting or script, albeir characters slightly corny - a gung ho soldier, ninja assasin, hot female lead, sensitive guy and so on, then a big reveal at the end - ooo, looking promising. 2nd episode the characters make a bit more sense, hints of things to come whilst it negotiates a planet of the week formula. I'm rather liking it so far even if it's looking to be adventure sci fi rather than the Big Questions of leadership and what it means to be human of the true greats like Battlestar, or the real sense of wonder of Bab 5 or Farscape (still my favourite). Still, very promising and definitely want to see what happens

Time you enjoyed wasting was not wasted
I've never really binge-watched anything before, but as I recently semi-retired found myself with 4 days off work during a period of dodgy weather.

Used this as an excuse to watch all 3 seasons of Bosch on Amazon Prime.

I must admit that I really enjoyed it. So much so that I've now started reading the Michael Connelly novels.

I did the same about a year ago. I have only seen the first 2 seasons of the TV show because the third wasn't on Prime at the time, but I started reading the books in order. I recently finished Trunk Music which I think is the 5th one.

I can't think of a single duff episode. My favourite is The Riddle of the Sphinx from the last series. The crossword was printed in The Grauniad the day it aired, which I think is brilliant.

Ooh, yeah, that was a cracker! The restaurant one was really good too. I have the rest of the week (mostly) to myself so I might watch them all again.
