Just discovered Oat So Simple porridge pots where you just add hot water.
Pop one in my ruck sack and eat when I get to work. My office can just about run to a kettle. Feeling sick problem sorted!
I changed my eating habits and had a bowl of porridge, a cinammon swirl and a cup of coffee before yesterday's 100miler, they seemed to set me up fine.
When I am back commuting (waiting for a bike) I have a 10 mile cycle to work I shall have a glass of water and some cereal/toast before setting off. I was doing this before and it was working really well.
Just tea and a slice of toast this morning. 14.5 miles to a meeting. 3-4 small cups of coffee, then another 4.5 miles back to the office before getting food about 1pm. Not ideal, but hey ho, it's not every day.
Personally, and with the many, it's important to have a breakfast, however.... I'd not differ from any other morning, I often find myself needing water more than food first thing. I'd hydrate myself with a pint of water, followed by some weetabix, and a cup of tea... If your into coffee or tea. Adam
A fried egg sandwich and a glass of OJ. On my fast days, just water. I've never felt any worse for it either way although I'll make it a point to have the egg cob the morning after the fast day. My commute is 9-10 miles each way.
