Got my bike today, :-) fab ride, got the handlebars put in a sit up and beg style, need new seat but fab fab fab, thanks for all your advice, especially vickster who posted this bike in the first place xxx

Just so you know ( i thought someone should tell you) vickster is actually Victoria Pendleton (in real life) hence my pulling her leg, so her recommending the trek is pretty generous advice.

Ride that Trek with pride and tell your mates that Ms Pendleton herself recommended it to you.
@vickster will love that.

There's a deal on in halfords at the moment, when you buy a Pendleton you get a half price basket - ask them if they'll honour it, you never know I hear they can be pretty helpful when the mood takes them.
I actually had a go on a Pendleton last week and was really surprised how nice it felt, although I found the bar position a bit weird at first. For a slow cycle across town it would be a lovely bike, but I wouldn't fancy taking it up a hill!
For ladies considering the subway I'd say look at giant escapes instead.

Hi everyone, loving my new bike, and got the perfect weather to get out and about, even been out with my 4 year old on her balance bike, never ridden so slow lol, going to post some pics soon just haven't got around to it yet, so pleased I joined this forum :-)
