Today I bought a new water bottle. Which will hopefully fit onto what’s inside here; and also arrived today……

Some windstopper active leggings as most heat loss is from wind chill on the bike this time of year. Will give them an outing tomorrow.

The Specialized Allez got treated to a couple of new tyres today - the old ones are a bit slick for winter riding and makes the bike snake around a bit on the muddy, gritty lanes I ride on. I have a liking for Schwalbe tyres so went for the Lugano II in 700 x 28c size, which is the widest tyres that I can get into the Allez's frame.

Just need to clean the bike and fit them ... a job for Thursday as I'm having a day of wildlife photography tomorrow today. :bravo:

I've had a version of Ergo grips for a while now, and they make riding the Brompton much more pleasant. I've wondered about Eazy wheels. Can you let us know what you think?

They’re brilliant, have them on my M3L and have ordered a pair for my S6L. They make the bike more stable when folded and really easy to roll.

Spa Elan bits.jpg

Some bits to be spread over my Spa Elans - FSA Wing bars (chunky, a flat top and shallow drop - I've got them on a couple of other bikes) to go onto the 725 and an 80mm stem (as it works on the 725 and something I've wanted to try instead of the 100mm for a while) to go on the Ti.
The bar tape is just in case as I hope to re-use what is already on the 725.

I visited a Granada Cycles at Mid Rivers, St Peter’s, Mo. today, and was hoping to pickup a Garmin 1050 for less than they are in the U.K. I was surprised to see they had many models of Garmin, but not the 1050. Looking at them on line they are $700, so almost exactly the same price as in the U.K.

So I bought nothing today

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Earlier this month I picked up a pair of Bontrager XXX carbon aero handlebars. This lunchtime another set came up at a much lower price, so I've got those as well.

Also a very budget Shimano 105 crankset that I may use with the Vitus that I picked up last week. That has some quite rusty chainrings.

I also picked up a fairly large saddle bag with sections for my French tour which I hope to do at the end of June.
