I watched the Robert Powell version of "The 39 Steps" today. It was most excellent (as Bill and Ted would say).
The first two did what they said on the tin. I'm guessing number 3 will too.I quite fancy seeing that one myself.
I've got two tickets, don't know how I'd explain it to my lad though.
I was talking about you going in his place.Tell him, its just a bit of fun, something you can just enjoy without thinking to much.

I've got a full price ticket though, not an OAP.Ha ha. Your on. I hope its in 3D. I'm not a cheap date, despite what some may say.

You'll have to sneak your own drink in as well, I'm not paying their prices.

I watched the original and the re make of the 39 steps. To be honest, I liked them both, but I think the one with Robert powell was slightly better. Both however are excellent.
The original is a Hitchcock effort isn't it? I may give it a go, just because it's him.
Many moons ago, a neighbour was having a nosey at my DVD collection and exclaimed "My uncle's in that!" whilst pointing at Evil Dead 3: Army of Darkness... she'd never actually seen it (I don't think she'd seen anything her uncle had been in) and insisted we watch it. I was surprised that her uncle didn't have a bit part but one of the leading roles (Lord Arthur).. she was amazed at just how terrible his acting was... still, it's a cracking filmI just bought a double DVD pack of Evil Dead 1 and 2 - tonight's going to be evil!
