Keeping in with film anniversarys it's Peeping Tom tonight.Sixty years old and still as creepy.

A Simple Favour - came on after something else we were watching. Turned out to be quite watchable, a bit saccharine to start with but this was part of the deliberate setting up of the characters and story, which mixed whodunnit with some dark humour.

Just watched Jojo Rabbit. What a wonderful, terrible, funny, heart-breaking film. So many things to think about, not ashamed to say I cried a little.

Ben Kingsley always seems to do understated menace really well, and you can't beat a tiny bit of soft porn being chucked in there as well.

Kind of old fashioned spy movie in a good way. Almost expected Michael Caine to saunter in.

Slow paced drama based on the true story of a corporate lawyer who took on Du Pont and exposed how corporate greed had led to the poisoning of a whole community (and almost everyone on the planet to a lesser degree). The sheer audacity of the company in the light of overwhelming evidence is astonishing.

Thought it was a very good film, seems to have been unfairly slated imho.
