I think it's a cracker. Just as good as the book... unlike 2061, which was rubbish. Didn't bother reading 3001.I don't aknowledge it though
That's the only one I've kept, and re-read every so often.Didn't bother reading 3001
To be honest I've never read any of them, sorry to say but I don't really read any science fiction that I can think of.Dont usually watch any either.Theres a few films I can think of that I've watched but it's not really my genre.Bladerunner springs to mind.Anything Kubrick I love though...well maybe except Eyes Wide Shut !I think it's a cracker. if you're a fan of 2001: the movie... the book is well worth a read. The film gives us everything David Bowman sees, the book gives us everything he thinks. I think both book and screenplay were written concurrently, so they're companion pieces rather than 'the book of the film' or 'the film of the book'To be honest I've never read any of them, sorry to say but I don't really read any science fiction that I can think of.Dont usually watch any either.Theres a few films I can think of that I've watched but it's not really my genre.Bladerunner springs to mind.Anything Kubrick I love though...well maybe except Eyes Wide Shut !

Raging bull revisited...Imma gonna dig out the dvd
Tried to watch it as a 13-14 year old, didn't understand any of it that I can rememberif you're a fan of 2001: the movie...
How do you watch films with adverts? I struggle even with TV shows I'd rather record them & then watch back zipping through the adverts? If he wife is watching a film on a channel with adverts I'll go out of the room. This week I have watched Last Action Hero, True Lies and Commando, Arnie fest on Film 4, all crap though I can't help but enjoy the silliness.
Anything Kubrick I love though...well maybe except Eyes Wide Shut !
Record from 9, play at 9.15, forward through advert breaks until we catch up, go to bed. Watch the last bit the next night. It's not like they're films you can't pick up at any point. How do you watch films with adverts? I struggle even with TV shows I'd rather record them & then watch back zipping through the adverts?
