Beginning of the End (1950 something). Much the same as Attack of the Crab Monsters, only with giant locust 'the size of a man'. I guess the special effects guys didn't read the script because next to a man, those locust were the size of a bus. Utter garbage but better than the giant crabs and only an hour long. (3/10)

Criss Cross (1948) staring Burt Lancaster trying to double cross a mob-boss to get his ex-girlfriend back... but who's double crossing who? Not bad at all. (6/10)

And yes... I'm working my way through my unwatched films in alphabetical order.

I'm not a big cinema goer so hadn't even heard of this one..
Enjoyed it. I thought the scenes where Professor X was having mental disturbances (whatever they were I missed) and the noise and effect on everyone nearby was very well done and strikingly good.

I Don't Feel At Home in This World Anymore (Netflix)

A single woman is robbed, and resolves to try to change the world for the better, an endeavour that culminates in her and an eccentric neighbour pursuing the thieves. It's reminiscent of Blue Ruin, in some ways, with both revengers and revengees being pretty incompetent, but played much more for darkly comic laughs, and with less of a sense of consequence for the protagonists as well. It's not as good a film as Blue Ruin, but not half as gruelling either, which might give it it's own appeal for some viewers. I liked it well enough, and it's worth putting on your list, imo.

Spiderman 2.

Like many modern action films, its a CGI fest devoid of any discernable plot. Its only saving grace is the rather delicious Emma Stone, who gets far too little screen time.

3/10.

John Wick 2

Follows on from the original with more violence, but enjoyable nonsense if you like that sort of thing - and I do. Good to see Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne together again in a film. Don't know what @Drago would make of the weapons drills though...
8/10
