Spider-man Homecoming.

I'm glad they totally skipped the origin story, as everyone knows it inside out.
Good acting, particularly by Michael Keaton who steals the film.

Decent. 6.7 /10

Gattaca - yet another future distopia movie, with Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman and Jude Law doing a reasonable job with a disconcertingly plausible scenario in which the world has become divided between genetically engineered uber-peeps, who do all the cool stuff and wear smart clothes, and regularly-conceived 'in-valids' who do all the cleaning and generally act subservient. All a tad predictable, plot-wise, but it's pretty well done on the whole. 7/10?

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
The mummy. Tom Cruise spent 90% of the film with a vacant look on his face, and they did the typical stupid American thing of spending most of their time shouting at each other and trying to be funny, when in fact they are not.

The CGI was good. That's the best thing i can say about the film. The next best thing is, don't bother watching it. 5/10 if that.

Kong. Skull Island. Not a bad remake as remakes go. A bit different than the old remakes which makes a nice change. 6/10

A Dangerous Man.

Starring Steven Seagal. No plot, implausible hand to hand sequences, weapons drills that would make ISIS shuffle with embarrassment.

And why do so many bad guys want to fight him? He's a 6'4" 290lb man. Even without his jap slapping skills he's a formidable presence and no one with half a grain of self preservation would start on someone that big because kinetic energy reigns supreme.

2/10. I'm a fan of mindless violence and needless slapping of bad dudes, but this was so dire even Van Damme wouldn't have touched the script, if there was a script to being with.

I cannot stand seagal, and neither does his fellow actors from what i have heard. He has the talent of a marshmallow.

Alien Covenant - 6/10, ok but not a patch on Alien or Aliens. I think they should think of something new for a change, instead of this, I didn't find it scary, or suspenseful in any shape or form.

Ghost In The Shell - 8/10, I really enjoyed this, the effects were excellent and was a great story, sure its been done before, in slightly different ways (Bladerunner, Ex Machina, Robocop etc), still a great film, way better than the other film I watched!

GITS was a revolution to me, saw everything on Netflix a few years ago. Maybe a decade or so late to the party, but wow.

Was this the recent Hollywood one?

Laughing Man was my favourite.
