No idea. I loved Fury Road, and have only the vaguest recollection of the original films.
As for me, I watched Ted. About equal parts of finding it funny, and being irritated by the characters' attitude to women.

No doesn't matter, but the other 3 are worth a watch. The Fury Road does not follow on. Fury Road is a really enjoyable wreck 'em up film.
I watched that last night too. And yes a good film. The plane crash scene is harrowing.
Also not seen it for a long time. In fact, the only other time I saw it was when it was a cinema release.

The reason I ask is that I watched them in the early eighties and my lad is now seventeen, so I was wondering if it was worth educating him with the first two before Fury Road is on Sky next week.
I'll watch them again anyway.
