Dr Bashir in Deep Space 9

Is that like a modern Star Trek

oh , A bit like Red Dwarf ,but for adults
Errr, not really

A spin-off of `Star Trek: The Next Generation', `Deep Space Nine' is set on a space station orbiting the planet Bajor. This time, Commander Benjamin Sisko is in charge of a diverse crew. But unlike other `Star Trek' series, there's no USS Enterprise to help them. Sisko and the crew must fight off rival alien species who want control of Deep Space Nine because of its strategic position close to a wormhole, which allows speedy travel to the far reaches of space.

Changeling. Clint Eastwood directing, and as quite often with his movies, an arguably rather pedestrian telling of a simple story...but what a story. A woman whose son goes missing in 1928 LA, and who is delighted when he is found five months later, only to be presented with a boy who is not her son. Her protestations ending up with her being committed to a mental asylum by the cops (for causing them embarrassment and inconvenience), released only after her case is taken up by an evangelist radio host. There's a lot more too...it really is the horror story to beat all horror stories - and all of it based very closely on a true story. Amazing. And genuinely shocking.

I think the similarities between Dredd and The Raid are too close to be coincidence... and for the record, I think Nolan's take on Batman is utter sh!te

Fair enough, though I disagree, particularly about Batman, though Bale's gritty voice does get annoying and the third one is essentially the same story arc twice. That said, I reckon his version of The Joker knocks it out the park.

Tim Burton's Batman will always be the best for me.

If you like home invasion movies then look no further than Kidnapped,a superb Spanish shocker which i had never heard of but am now a huge fan.A simple story of a family who have just moved into a new house, whilst there three masked men crash in and demand money.A truly shocking film which doesn't hold back on the violence and tension.I was gripped from start to finish but be warned, this isn't a kiddie movie.
