"I'm good" is also used to mean "No, thank you". As in "Would you like another piece of cake?" "I'm good" (which means "No, thank you, I have had sufficient cake".)

I suppose if you answered "I'm bad" that would mean, "Yes, an extra large slice please"

I‘m good is also a way of saying, I am not dying, but I am not going to share with you my true state. It’s none of your business.

That's almost as bad as "I hear what you're saying".

Which really means I'm not listening and don't care!!

More an Americanism, but it starting to take hold here.

"I reached out..."

No you didn't. You effing well emailed/phoned/visited/sent a carrier pigeon. It's silly and stupid so stop it.

And it's only doing what I am paying you for.

Reach out to rescue drowning people, touch someone you love .....not to deliver the service your company claims to be in business for.

And I do not want a colleague, I want someone who works. And you can stuff your customer response survey somewhere dark.

Another irritant is when someone replies “interesting” usually prefixed with an ‘mmmmm”

”mmmm interesting” what is that actually supposed to mean? it’s a cop out from actually expressing any sort of opinion.

That means one fit the filing cabinet named B. I. N.....
