I always put chocolate in the fridge before eating. I prefer the texture to soft feeling chocolate.

Chocolate should be firm and not mushy.

Some plants are the same here - Sycamore, Poplars are already shedding leaves, my Midwinter Fire (Cornus) has bright yellow leaves which will soon drop to leave dramatic red stems, but most trees - apples, oaks, etc, are still very green.

Probably a benefit of a surprisingly mild autumn. First frosts have only arrived in the last few days.
