Whilst I was on holiday I picked up a 3 CD set of Everly Brothers tracks. I ripped them to the computer, converted them to a single playlist, ditched several tracks I didn't like and merged the playlist with another smaller one I already had, I now have a 65 track Everly Brothers play list that now has been put on the MP3 player as well.

Everly Brothers tracks you don't like, I didn't think it was possible!!! I've got pretty much everything they recorded and it's all first rate. Even their below par stuff is better than most others.

Ebony Eyes was one, I can't stand that song its mawkish, Grandfather clock was another one, another song I can't stand.

Just listened to Peter Gabriel plays live from 1983 and now listening to Then and Now by Asia.

I suspect an album by Yes may well be next just not sure which one yet.

I do like them mate, and their latest CD release a couple of weeks back (Nattersferd) is here sitting on the Blue Man's CD rack..though they're not Black metal... just good old heavy rock.

Pearl Jam quite often do that as an encore(obv minus Neil) but the proper last song at a top PJ gig is this;

Managed to find a copy of the Everly Brothers reunion concert at The Albert Hall on Charly records, it's the version where they haven't cut the between songs chat so you get the whole concert. Playing it today, great stuff.

I'm spinning some vinyl tonight. Father in law has just had a new knee and my wife has gone to look after him so I can play what I want as loud as I want. So far I've played Six Wives of Henry VIII by good old Rick, then it was Individuellos by La Düsseldorf, at the moment it's 2nd by Agitation Free. Deluxe by Harmonia will be next
