The sound of my Father moaning mostly. Honestly, he is getting more and more ridiculous by the day!
Well let him out of the cellar then. ^_^

Great gig - in the middle of the afternoon for some reason. Phil can still wail pretty well, although he looks a bit frail, and Dave is a first class strat wrangler. For a couple of old fellas, they kicked up a right old racket. Mainly songs from the last two albums, but a few blasters numbers (American Music and Marie Marie) and Kern River as an impromptu Hag tribute.

Andre Nickatina - Smoke Dope and Rap.

I used to really like him, and I still sort of do, but his lyrics are pretty limited compared to other rappers, though he does have an impressive vocabulary which is probably what keeps me coming back.

I bought the Elvis RCA 60 CD album box when it came out and I've been working my way through chronologically, I've just finished the 60s movie soundtrack era which I have to say was a bit of a struggle at times.

Anyway we're back on track now with disc 34, the 68 TV Spesh and then the American Sound Studios stuff from Memphis.

Record Store Day 2016 today, bought Tom Petty Kiss My Amps Vol 2, selected live stuff from 2013. Got an Iggy 7" and a record by The Shaggs, they're unusual...

I got up in the morning and went to the local record emporium on record store day, it was a bit crap actually, didn't have what I wanted. Then went to Cheltenham in the afternoon to one there but got peed after after about 10 minutes in the queue outside so I threw a strop and went to the sewing machine shop to meet my wife instead.

All in all I've decided Record Store Day is rubbish.

I went at about 11am, no queue, decent amount of stuff left, the one thing I didn't see I was able to pick up on line for no more money. I'm only interested in RSD stuff you generally won't find elsewhere not just some repackaged old tat although the LP I bought online was an Elvis one which had no new tracks to me and probably falls into the 'repackaged tat' category for most but I wanted it for no other reason than I wanted it. I quite like RSD.
