It’s the way of the world.
Animals will hunt just what they need to survive. Humans can make their first million pounds & still never be happy.
The human species needs making extinct.
We are well on our way then, though I wish we weren’t.

Ah, the infamous doctor from little house on the prairie,
he had a potion for all ailments, and the sight of the
rolling meadows in black and white of course painted
a blissful picture for us care free red necks, Laura Ingalls,
what a sight for a ten year old boy.

I might one day. It's not that I've avoided it on a point of principle. I've just never seen it.

It's a very VERY funny film. Or not. Monty Python at their very best, IMO.

It depends on what flips your ship!

Any guarantee that what replaces us won't be as bad though?

T'ain't no rolling hills, but there's a Dr. Baker lives off to the right of the picture.

I am pleased I was born in 1958 in Northern Europe. It has been a good period to be on this planet.

I cannot see it getting any better as time goes by.

1959 for me, and I often find myself thinking the same now.

1956 for me and 1963 for Lovely Wife.

History suggests that we generally sort most things out although I do think that the things that need sorting out are getting tougher to fix.

On the other hand, here, we have retreated into our own little bubble to a certain extent as we are tired of certain shifts in society - we don't like social media 24/7 intrusion, mobile phone addiction, the way that 'causes' are being rammed down our throats both above and below the radar, and populistic politics. We also watch limited TV, and particularly dislike 'celebrity' & 'shouty' TV and we limit our exposure to the The News etc.

Whilst we don't want our lives to end anytime soon we sometimes think that we really don't want to be involved too far into the future if this is the way things continue to go.
