On an optimistic note, some experts predict that soils in the main breadbasket agricultural regions have about 60 harvests remaining before the soil becomes too degraded to use.

Hanslope Park will be a target?

I should think so. That's the real life home of Q branch. I'm less than 3 miles from it, just open countryside between me and them, so I need a very, very deep hole to avoid even a moderate airburst over there.

The prospects are so bleak we really do need to divert ourselves from time to time with something pleasant to take our minds off it. Like cat pictures

... or atom bombs.

Oh well. Back on topic. Yes. We're screwed.

Would be nice.to see the car banned for Two days every week, that would make a huge difference to the environment, and the economy, more bicycles would need produced, that means jobs, my car is up for test soon, if not this.year, next year it will be gone, fed up with crazy high tax, road insurance is worse, very high owing to big business burning and otherwise claiming for large lorries tractors.and excavators they should of never been loaned money to buy, the banks and loan companies like them burned as they get their money back, no sitting at auctions for them fly bast????, that's why the least well off are paying very high insurance premiums while the wealthy cash in instead of crash out.

Yes, we are screwed, greed is to blame, but it should be no surprise, at least according to the book of Revelation, it's all in there, signs of the times, end times.
