I saw the nurse yesterday, I have now stopped Gliclazide, increased the Mounjaro to the next step. I have a diary to complete of BG readings at different times after I’ve eaten for a week. Back in a month to review.

Warned to eat at least three times a day, even if one is just a banana, remember to keep drinking and be vigilant for Hypos, not had one so far.

Another small reduction of 0.65 to 98.15 kgs, slightly lower rate of loss. There has been a delay getting the Mounjaro so it’s eight days since my last injection, I expect it will arrive on Thursday, not sure what impact that will have.

My weigh in on Saturday was pleasing - another 2lbs off. I'll be happy with 1lb or even 0 this week, as we had chinese on saturday night, huge roast dinner sunday, and yesterday I had a pig moment where I couldn't stop picking at crisps and cold roast potatoes. If I pull out all the stops this week I might be able to shed something.

On the subject of weight loss, I was talking to my colleague last week and said that I was dieting and had lost x amount of kilos. His immediate response was "you know you haven't actually lost all of that as fat, you've lost x pounds in water and x pounds of muscle mass". He's about 4 stone heavier than me so I don't think he can sit there and lecture me. He's probably jealous.

259 even this morning, post forest gump. The injections can't do anything that I can't do for myself, ie, eat less.
That's the point. The injections are for those people who can't / won't eat less. They cause you to eat less. If you have the willpower and organisation then your method is far preferable. Not everyone can do that however, and the easy availability of fast food and ready meals doesn't help reduce the calorie count. If you can't fight off the hunger pangs, then the injections help you do that and give you a chance to re-educate yourself, and get you to a place where it's more comfortable to do more exercise.

Hello!

A few ups and downs on the bike, weather work and changes at the gym and diet.

About 3 weeks without posting here? No idea I am getting old and forgetting stuff.

So I started taking creatine 2 weeks ago and according to what I was told and my reading is normal to gain some weight. So I have an excuse! 🤣🤣

Hi .What type/make of scales/machine is telling you all that please?

I should try to loose some weight

Main problem at the moment is the Coeliac disease - which should make me eat more healthily

but has actually produced a thing where I am so limited in what I can eat that when I find something I CAN eat then I think
"Oh look - I'm allowed to eat that!!!"

turns out chocolate is gluten free
and you can get gluten free Hob Nobs - for twice the price of normal ones with 1/3 of the number of biscuits in the pack

Hence - I can eat them and I'm allowed to so its OK

I have started to reduce the amount - now that it is 5 months in

it does help that there is naff all I can eat in most of the cafe's I stop at on bike rides which will help!!

Weekly weight report! (I remembered)

Less weight!
Less Fat!
Same muscle!

I take it even if they are not being g changes.

Speaking of changes as you might remember I started taking creative a few weeks back but last week I read an article where you supposed to take a gram for every 10 kilos, others say 5 grams a day… 🫣 I am taking around seven to split the difference.

Anyone with personal experience with this?

Here is the report! (I am not that color! 🤣🤣)
