Used to ride that road regularly when I worked at Leeds Met. Alas that was many years ago!! Have many fond memories - but being flashed wasn't one of them.

No we haven't. I was in the business orientated part of the IT Dept when it was in C Building on the 2nd floor. It moved up to the 7th floor and merged with the student orientated part of the IT Dept shortly after I left in 1998. I mainly worked on the HR systems (HR were opposite us on the 2nd floor) and then later the Oracle databases and business network as well. I left when a re-org decimated the department from 22 to 9 because it had dragged on for 18 months with no clear decisions having been made.

@SquareDaff - so we didn't meet there then. I thought if we had I'd remember; I started in 2001 and have been in FBL since then as a Principal Lecturer (was SL) in Marketing.

I finished work early today and thought I would head off to Maldon on my bike as it was such a lovely afternoon. Twenty seven miles (at ave.17.9 mph, for those interested) later, I was cruising towards the cafe area in the pedestrian part of the harbour/ park thing, contemplating a slice of bread pudding, when a woman in her twenties decided that I had somehow earned a long lingering look at her bare boobs. She just held open her top in a Benny-Hill-nurse sort of way, for 10 or 15 seconds, until my rolling bike brought me embarrassingly close, then she put them away, giggled with her friend, and wandered off.

Maldon is a rather genteel part of Essex, but I suspect that standards are declining.
