Got to do it now, haven't I?

Although my routing north of Coventry may be really dumb, the A447 might really be much easier for the tiling.

Let me know when you are doing it as you must pass fairly close to me. If timing works, I'll join you for a bit.

Kind offer :okay: . I'm not sure on timings, I was thinking of departing at roughly 4am on Saturday, but that depends on getting up. The 200 km mark is by Warwick Technology Park.

I did a 40 mile recovery ride yesterday to nab one errant tile. This completed a vertical row. Now have a 50 miler to do to get a horizontal column - which will move me to 25 square.

Did the 50 miler (46 in the end) but only picked up one of the 2 tiles I needed. The track I had earmarked went into a farm and there were farm vehicles along it - It was large stone which would have been a nightmare for my racebike as well so I decided against it. Will have to come back with a MTB and hope the farmgys aren't around or find a footpath elsewhere in the tile.

I added another 6 tiles today which upped my Max Sq by 1 and my max cluster by 21

Yep its funny how some tiles are key and have a disproportionate impact on your totals. I have one tile that I think will add 30-40 to my cluster. I drove through it yesterday on the way back from my morning (hard) race. I'd planned to stop and ride a mile to nab it but it was raining and I was nackered .... so it still sits unclaimed

Cheers - back now and managed to get them both.

I got the top one from that bridle path but had wanted to take a footpath off it as well to get the lower one. That was thwarted.

Got the bottom one by basically walking to the middle of a field. Couldn't see any footpaths.

It was kinda fun on the MTB on fields/tracks for a change.

I got the southern one today. I went via the sewage works road. Luckily for me the gate was open at the top of the track, otherwise I would have had to jump on the public footpath that crosses it.

Failed on the one above it, I tried to get it from the west but the track I wanted to use had security fencing across it. I did lean my bike up against a gate and hopped into a field, but a brook stopped me getting into the square. I’ll do it via the main road on the east next time I’m down that way.

I got 11 new squares, all around that area. Had a nice stop in Bishop Itchington. The Village Store does coffees and hot pasties, worth a stop if out that way.

I see Imber in the UK is open for the end of August - anyone have a good route that grabs the most tiles without too many dead ends? My wife is likely to be riding with me and she's not a fan of 'nubbins'. Thanks.
