Upgrading cyclocross cantilevers to v-brakes - possible?

Thanks for the input all.

Brake preference is largely subjective for most people and I'm no different on that score.
If cantis work for you, then great. My experience with them has been dreadful and I simply hate them.

After much deliberation, I'm now changing my preferred C2W bike to be a Specialized Secteur Sport Disc Compact (Assuming the Halfords scheme can source it)

and if they can't I'll choose between the Canny and Dolan.

Personally I'd go for the Dolan or Cannondale which not only look far nicer than the Spesh (personal opinion I know) but they are better equipped to boot.

The canti's on both could easily be changed to mini-V's at little cost.

I don't think Sora and BB5's (which can be a faff to adjust unlike their BB7 siblings) are a great buy at £1000 which is typical of the manufacturer.
