Disc brakes suddenly stopped working

Thanks all. You were more helpful that ChatGPT, and both brakes now work. The oil that came out wasn’t hideously black but it was quite manky. My “Chumxiny” bleed kit came with a cup and two syringes but I did it with the bike the right way up.

I think I know what I’m doing now. The front tools three attempts but the back worked first time.
