Well i did my club 10 TT series last night my time was 31.27 so its alright for a debut into the world of time trialing i really enjoyed it and will be going back next week to try and beat that time.

Only thing i need to get used to is the holding start which put me off at the start but thats about it.

Well done mate. A respectable time indeed.

Well done.
I always predict that you can knock off 4 minutes, from the first ride in a season. So my guess would be a 27 before the end of the season. Keep us posted.

Well done, you can only get quicker once you know how to pace yourself.

Re the start, I used to request the pusher to just release me rather than the usual rock back and forth a few times which I found just made me wobble away.

By happy coincidence I'm doing my first ever club 10 tonight. 47 years of age and more crash damage than Chris Hoy's racing cars - what could possibly go wrong?

Have a go and don't worry about not finishing and you might not be comfortable with the start when they hold the bike so you can clip in as i couldn't even clip in (might have been nerves)

Thanks for the good wishes, I'm off in about 10 minutes. Barring punctures I'm not worried about not finishing as I'm reasonably competent on a bike, but it'll be a new experience and a new group of people. I simply must shine! ;)

Hope that it went well for you ?

, I'm also toying with the idea of participating in a 10 TT that's on my doorstep every Tuesday evening , I do the course regularly on my training ride & done my best time ( by Strava ) 29.05 the other week , the top boys are 22/23 min

Give it a go, nobody will laugh or mock, most will offer friendly advice, some will sit on their turbos in the corner "in the zone" but don't be afraid, massive sense of achievement awaits with a number on your back!

Back now! Due to missing the finish line mark (not the only one) I failed to halt the Garmin, but looking at the data I might just have scraped sub 25 min. For a first time on a non-TT (but nice) bike, I am well-chuffed. I think I've got a better time in me, but 4 minutes improvement might be pushing it.:surrender:

If you got in the 24's id say that was impressive! Well done.
Is it a quick course though, what's the top times?
