Both I think mate. I haven’t got wheels yet but I’ll get some that leave my options open. I used to love my fixed gear but that was at least 15 years ago now. I’ll give it a go fixed but my knees might not be too impressed.

Be interesting to see what gearing you go with. Assuming you're not looking to go up any big hills I guess you'll be looking to go into the 70's gear inches?

74 gear inches. My gearing is 69 (42-16) if that helps. You'll spin nice in that gear. At 90 cadence on a flat road you'll be going 20 mph. 100 cadence, 22 mph.

It’s by a London based independent company called brother. I’ve liked them for a couple of years but couldn’t really justify one. The frame I went for is the brother swift. I went for the sensible grey rather than the rather snappy deep purple. Myself and bob are both big fans of the Cannondale caad12 in the same deep purple so he’ll prob think I’m mad for going grey but I’m a little burnt from just having a bike pinched so I thought I’d go a little reserved with it.
