And explain it's 'lube', and you'll be sharing it around with your lycra clad friendsThe missus reckons I will be ok to bring grease on the plane if I put it into an 100ml clear tub.

Fixie / SS?
Be interesting to see what gearing you go with. Assuming you're not looking to go up any big hills I guess you'll be looking to go into the 70's gear inches? Both I think mate. I haven’t got wheels yet but I’ll get some that leave my options open. I used to love my fixed gear but that was at least 15 years ago now. I’ll give it a go fixed but my knees might not be too impressed.
74 gear inches. My gearing is 69 (42-16) if that helps. You'll spin nice in that gear. At 90 cadence on a flat road you'll be going 20 mph. 100 cadence, 22 mph.48-17 ish I think. What does that work out to?

What make is the bike?
We are all knackered from lack of sleep flight etc.
Big ride for us tomorrow that may well prove too much. 150km , Tourmalet, Aspin, peyerasourd and back so 6000m.
@Add looking back at this post it sure looks mean. It was meant to be sarcastic because you do so much as the Double Devil point man we have every right to demand even more...No. That’s not acceptable. Search for the draft or redo it. Really looking forward to your write up.
