just spent the last 2 hours doing the brakes every thing cleaned with ipa pads sanded a little then ipa again re bleed brake calipers all torque checked re aligned
still squeals when I hold brake push across garage floor next step is to descend drag brake and release before stopping ill do that 3or 4 times and if that don't sort it its going to be new pads and try different rotors

Long hold of brakes to build lots of heat on descent. I know it's probably not the done thing but on cars the back of the pads are fitted with a smear of copper grease, to STOP squeal!

A week to go you eager Beaver DD’ers.
I suppose I better get a couple of leg turners in this week.

There are a couple of greasy spoon type cafes in cross hands that open at 7am on Sunday, a bacon roll sounds like a good start to the day!

Those staying over Saturday night, there are a few places to eat near by, i'm not a fan of curry the night before a ride, so would prefer to stick to pub grub type stuff:
The kings head inn (no website)
http://www.thesmithsarms.co.uk/
a Couple of fish a chip places

I'll have my car so can drive up to 5 people (4 in a bit of comfort).

Unless there are true nutters amongst us, I imagine we’ll all have cars, but I’ll get a lift, so I can get absolutely hammered!
Might be worth booking a table.
Can I get a role call please? Who wants a place booked for a pub grub?

Might be worth putting this on the whatsapp group? I won't be there Saturday night for pub grub but I will probably be up for the bacon roll on Sunday morning depending on how much grub I've already managed to stuff inside me on my early morning drive down there!
