Last year the short route did the staircase but not the elbow. This year it's the other way round, but will still be a good ride.Oh no! Oh man, if I could have done that staircase I would have killed it.
Are we thinking about the 130 now?

We ordered good weather again this year, so it's all sorted I mean, when does it ever rain in Waleslike Andy says - IF the weather is good it is one of the best places to ride i have been
if it is a bad day then i can only imagine that it is a cruel ride

It looks like an added 30 mile loop not too far in. I would be willing to try it if everyone else will.So you reckon the shorter ride does both the Devils Rob? Tbh their route maps are bloody awful!

That an extra 30 miles and 4000ft of climbingIt looks like an added 30 mile loop not too far in. I would be willing to try it if everyone else will.
I've done 115 miles a few times but always flat. 4000 feet of more climbing is a lot more of a challenge. Maybe I better stick to the 95 mile route. That an extra 30 miles and 4000ft of climbing
Are you trying to kill us!!!!! To be fair though, if this is your only time in the UK, and the only time you'll ever attempt this ride, will you end up going back home regretting not attempting the longer route? If it's anything like last year (and I've not looked at the maps so not sure this year), the decision to do the long or short route was made at about the 70 mile mark. @rob01792 or @Add might know if the same decision can be made this year. Looks like I need to be training for the longer route thenIt looks like an added 30 mile loop not too far in. I would be willing to try it if everyone else will.
I seem to recall you enjoying it last year .... those last 30 miles we rode alone, you was singing the whole time. At least, that's what my recall is of that day but to be fair, I think I passed out at one stage so my memory may not be too reliable either4000ft is ok its when it on top of 8000ft randy the shorter route is about 8000ft of climbing but the longer route is near 12000 ft of climbing way above my ability last summer i was often cycle 6000 to 7000 and the single D last year done me in I said then never again but I have a short memory and forgotten the pain and suffering last year
C’mon...what the hell... we can’t send Randy home not having the full DD under his belt can we? Plus we can all call Andy CXR the lightweight, because he didn’t do the 130 mile version! ☺️I seem to recall you enjoying it last year .... those last 30 miles we rode alone, you was singing the whole time.
