Based on our recent holiday in Cornwall

WHen driving on a single track road and you come across another car as you both go round a corner
and the other car immediately reverses back to a convenient passing place!

or you see an approaching car just as you get to a nice passing place so you can easily swing into it and look like the hero!

Finding that the Spotify App on my Xbox will play over any game music

Listening to a Punk Rock 90s00s playlist now👍

For the last two weeks someone has put my recycling bin back in place after a few hours stood on the pavement after being emptied. I've gone out then returned hours later, thinking I'll move it, to find someone's done it for me. It's either someone thinking "I'll do him a favour", or someone thinking "it's bugging me being left there", but whatever their motive I'm very grateful!

I'd put it back in the street to wind them up!🤣🤣🤣

BBC news articles which are factually incorrect, or report factually incorrect statements without a correcting note.

Today, about a returned book:

"His grandson Paddy Riordan returned the text on Tuesday, with a donation of £18.27 thought to be equivalent to the 4,835d fine."

4835d would have been £20/2/11, or £20.14½p.

That's my pedant rant for the day
