My printer.

I only seem to use it once every two or three years, and each and every time it's the same scenario...

My PC cannot connect to the printer. The printer can find wifi connections halfway down the street, but not the one a few feet away from it. Shouting at the printer doesn't work (although i try this first every time). Turning the wifi off and on doesn't work. Uninstalling the printer and reinstalling the software does work... but why do i have to this every time i want to use my fecking printer?? :cursing:

People who use k instead of km.

k means times 1,000. - so 50k = 50,000

km means kilometres, so 50km = 50km

Please don’t mix the two k does not, nor never has been shorthand for kilometres
I have no problem at all with that (at least in informal usage - official docs would be different). However ...
Much worse is 10m for 10 miles. Enormous ambiguity and confusion potential!

Windscreen wipers that start from the sides of the screen and look as though they're going to tie themselves into a granny knot if they're badly adjusted.

There i was in the shelter up the local park this aft',when a woman turned up with a yappy excitable dog. Bear in mind i was wearing the tweed trousers i started a thread about last week. https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/any-of-you-machine-or-hand-washed-dry-clean-only-clothes.270278/
They were on their first outing since being washed. This fecking dog was insistent on jumping up at me. I kept the annoying thing at bay with my walking stick, blocking it's attempts to jump up at me for a good 10 minutes. Then i turned my back on it for a split second and it pounced! the runt managed to jump up and put its filthy front paws on my calf! Damn'!,i hate unruly dogs!!🧐
